Coaching for Commitment (C4C) creators, Cindy Coe and Amy Zehnder, wrapped up the customer service week webinars with a program packed with concrete techniques for coaching. They established the different roles we play in our working relationships – manager, instructor, mentor, coach – and how to focus your attention from each perspective. Then they demonstrated, in very interactive fashion, how to use their coaching model – adeptly using a variety of questions to lead the person being coached from current reality to ideal state for any problem at hand.
Amy and Cindy reinforced the concept that coaching is not about you (the coach) and your solutions, but about guiding others to their own, best solution that they can carry forth with commitment. shared an underlying philosophy to a successful coaching ,“You are 100% accountable for 50% of the relationship!,” says Cindy.
